"Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do
righteous deeds that they will have a great reward." [17:9]

"All the praises and thanks be to Allah, Who has sent down to His slave (Muhammad SAW) the Book
(the Quran), and has not placed therein any crookedness." [18:1]

In Surah Fatihah, the Surah recited the most on a daily basis in all prayers, verses 6 and 7, Allah teaches us to ask Him, “Guide us to the straight path - The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favour”.

Who are those people (NOTE: Qur’an is not ‘people’ and ‘people’ are not Qur’an) upon whom Allah has bestowed favour? Check 4:69: “And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favour of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions.”

If what the Hadeeth-deniers (people who do not submit themselves to God and have labelled themselves ‘Submitters’) claim is correct, i.e. the Qur’an alone is sufficient and the Prophet does not need to be followed, why does it not say, “Guide us to the straight path - The path of the Qur’an”? Why did Allah use such precise words, showing us how to ask Him to guide us to the path of Allah and His Messenger, and not the Qur’an IF only the Qur’an is sufficient?

Allah deliberately chose this path for us. He chose us to ask Him to guide us towards the path of the PEOPLE he favoured – the Prophets, the affirmers of truth, martyrs and righteous people, not just the words of the Qur’an alone.

Furthermore, in 4:65 Allah, taking an oath by Himself, says that we cannot be true believers until we make the Prophet our judge in all matters, and completely submit to all his teachings – his actions, sayings, the Ahadeeth and his Sunnah. “But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.” [4:65]

In these verses again, Allah directs us towards His Chosen Path - the path of His Prophet, His favoured people and those whom He is pleased with. This is the path Allah wants us to follow.

Nobody can prove that the Companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW did not follow the teachings and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. If the path of the Deniers of Hadeeth is correct, they should be able to track down this path back to the Companions of the Prophet SAW.

1. "And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the MUHAJIREEN and the ANSAAR and THOSE WHO FOLLOWED them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with THEM and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment." [9:100]

2. "So if they believe in the same as YOU BELIEVE in, then they have been [rightly] guided; but if they turn away, they are only in dissension, and Allah will be sufficient for you against them. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing." [2:137]

3. "And when it is said to them, "Believe as the PEOPLE have believed," they say, "Should we believe as the foolish have believed?" Unquestionably, it is they who are the foolish, but they know [it] not." [2:13]

4. "And whoever opposes the MESSENGER after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the WAY OF THE BELIEVERS - We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination." [4:115]

5. And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous. [6:153]

6. The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed. [33:6]

7. There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often. [33:21]

Apart from these verses, there are many more ayaat from the Qur’an wherein Allah emphasises that we must follow His Chosen Path of His Chosen People in order to become true believers – that is the path of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, his Companions RadhiAllahu’Anhum, his sayings and actions.

Without the Ahadeeth, the Deniers of Hadeeth do not know what the Qur’an is, they cannot know what prayers are or how to perform them, they do now know what Zakaat, Janazah or the azan is, they cannot know what Hajj is, and many other commands.

The entire mankind did not know what the Qur’an is – Allah sent the Messenger Muhammad SAW and revealed the Qur’an upon him so that he can teach and explain the Qur’an to mankind with his wisdom – the hadeeth and Sunnah. Without the teachings of Prophet SAW, Deniers of Hadeeth cannot know how the teachings and commands of the Qur’an are to be put into practice.

"We know that you, [O Muhammad], are saddened by what they say. And indeed, they do not call you untruthful, but it is the verses of Allah that the wrongdoers reject." [6:33]

"It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error." [33:36]

"Indeed, those who disbelieve in the message after it has come to them... And indeed, it is a mighty Book. Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it; [it is] a revelation from a [Lord who is] Wise and Praiseworthy." [41:41-42]

Daily Hadiths

Narrated / Authority Of: Abdullah bin Abbas Al-Fadl (his brother) was riding behind Allah's Apostle and a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came and Al-Fadl started looking at her and she started looking at him. The Prophet turned Al-Fadl's face to the other side. The woman said, "O Allah's Apostle! The obligation of Hajj enjoined by Allah on His devotees has become due on my father and he is old and weak, and he cannot sit firm on the Mount; may I perform Hajj on his behalf?" The Prophet replied, "Yes, you may." That happened during the Hajj-al-Wida (of the Prophet).
