Ahmadis often argue that the word “khatam/khatim” does not mean last but rather it means best. As a result they claim that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the best of Prophets, not the last.

We can study the Arabic lexicons to determine the meaning of “khatam” but we will rather refer to someone Ahmadis place as the highest authority in scholarship, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. He has used “khatam” many times to signify last. He says “...My parents did not have any boy or a girl after my birth. I was khatam-ul-awlaad for my parents.” (RK, Vol.15, P.479) and similarly, “...There is no son after him therefore he is khatam-ul-walad.” (RK, Vol.15, P.482) as well as “...He is the khatam of the creation chain, I mean the last.” (RK, Vol.16, P.308)

Do they not accept his authority? Did he mean best when he used “khatam”? The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is khātam an-nabiyīn i.e. he is the last prophet and messenger of Allah (SWT).

Daily Hadiths

Narrated / Authority Of: Maimuna (the wife of the Prophet) Allah's Apostle performed ablution like that for the prayer but did not wash his feet. He washed off the discharge from his private parts and then poured water over his body. He withdrew his feet from that place (the place where he took the bath) and then washed them. And that was his way of taking the bath of Janaba.

About our mission

Qadianism (Ahmadism) is a pseudo religion whose leadership exploits its members socially, psychologically and financially. The leaders of this group have been able to maintain their hegemony over their ordinary members through treachery, plagiarism, cruel and inhuman discipline. This group aims to steal the identity of Islam by misinterpreting the original sources of Islam. The purpose of this site is to expose the tactics and logical fallacies of this group.
